One day on the practice field, an old Coach told a young Athlete about a battle that goes on inside every competitor.
He said, “Understand, the real battle is between two ‘wolves’ inside us all.”
He continued, “One is Defeat. It is fear, discouragement, negativity, anger, arrogance and self-pity. The other is Champion. It is belief, discipline, encouragement, joy, hope and humility.”
The Athlete thought about it for a minute and then asked his Coach: “Which wolf wins?”
